BBC Antiques Road Trip filming at the Cliff Railway

The Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway provided a recent filming location for BBC’s Antiques Road Trip, with the railway forming a feature part of the programme which was aired in September.

The Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway has also recently featured in the recent crime thriller Winter Ridge, BBC’s Countryfile with John Craven, BBC’s Escape to the Country, ITV’s Britain’s Best Walks with Julia Bradbury and a further 2018 feature film ‘Louisa: An Amazing Adventure’ about the 1899 overland Lynmouth to Porlock Lifeboat Launch. We are also currently filming with Channel 4, Four in a Bed and ‘Impossible Engineering’.

The Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway do not normally charge for filming and we welcome any film companies or television crews who wish to incorporate the railway as part of their production. We will work to accommodate your needs before we open to the public or whilst we are open as part of our daily operations and can provide royalty free images for use within articles, interviews or information about the railway’s heritage.
