Lynton, Lynmouth & the surrounding area 
 
Lynton & Lynmouth is described as 'Englands Switzerland' and offers a wide range of shops & galleries to visit. The East & West Lyn Rivers offer beautiful secluded wooded walks and interest, the Valley of the Rocks is a designated Site of Scientific Interest and provides some of the UK's most spectacular coastal scenery, including 'Mother Meldrums Cave' 'The White Lady' and 'The Devils Cheesering' and is also home to its own family of resident goats!  
 
Take a scenic boat trip from the picturesque Lynmouth harbour and explore where 'Exmoor meets the sea', spend some time watching the wildlife, take the Cliff Railway up to visit Lynton's Town Hall & churches, learn about Lynmouth's famous flood disaster at the free memorial exhibition, practice your mini golf, explore the kids play park or just cool your feet in the river and relax on the beach with an ice cream.  
 
Exploring Exmoor National Park will reveal areas of outstanding natural beauty including Watersmeet, The Doone Valley and the setting for R.D Blackmore's 'Lorna Doone', the hamlet of Malmsmead, Robbers Bridge, The Heddon Valley, Hunters Inn and Heddons Mouth or take on the beautiful drive, with wide open views from Lynmouth to Porlock Weir.  
 
For the active, pull on those boots, get the dog on its lead & explore the 'walking capital of Exmoor' where The Coleridge Way, The Two Moors Way & the South West Coast Path all converge in the towns of Lynton & Lynmouth
