Dozens of rafts, some built for speed, some for fancy dress, take to the seas in a battle to the buoy and back.... not all make it.... Capsizing is not uncommon. Great fun is had by all. Contact number for enquiries is 01598 753392
Before taking to the waters the rafts form a procession along Riverside Road for a close up view of their creativity and engineering skills - or lack thereof....
Be careful as flour bombs and buckets of water cascade down.
A riotous event in a superb setting.
