Facilities 
Cliff Top Cafaurant 
There is a Licensed Cafe at the top of the railway. The award winning “Cliff Top Cafaurant”, which offers hot and cold meals, drinks, Ice cream throughout the day. Why not stop and refuel while taking in the spectacular views across Lynmouth Bay and the Bristol Channel. 
 
Car Parking 
There are public car parks nearby in both Lynton and Lynmouth. 
 
Lynton Car Parks are situated at Bottom Meadow, Cross Street and Valley of Rocks. 
 
Lynmouth Car Parks are situated at Upper & Lower Lyndale, The Esplanade and Watersmeet. 
 
There is also on street parking in the white boxes but be advised to check the restrictions as traffic wardens do police the villages parking. 
 
Public toilets  
Public toilets are situated in Bottom Meadow Car Park and by the Town Hall in Lynton and The Memorial Hall and Lyndale Car Park in Lynmouth and also opposite the cricket field at the Valley of Rocks. 
Dogs 
Dogs are always welcome on the railway, however for health and safety reasons they must be on a lead and are not allowed to travel on the open platform.  
 
Disabled access  
Is available, but due to the nature of the railway and its Victorian carriages it is advisable to telephone prior to your visit for further information. As most wheelchairs will not pass through the carriages unfolded,and their are three steps through each. We can offer a return journey on the open platform for any wheelchairs that will not pass through the carriages. 
 
Special needs groups can be catered for but please telephone prior to your visit.  
 
Information Centres 
The Tourist Information Centre is situated in the Town Hall Lynton. 
The National Parks Information Centre is situated in the Lyndale car park Lynmouth. 
Lynton and Lynmouth  
Have all the usual facilities such as cafes, restaurants, pubs, post office, chemists, gift shops and convenience stores, children’s play area and putting green.
